Kwame Knight choreographs a dance fashion show at the Adidas 5km run in Hyde Park. The run is in aid of many charities including Breakthrough Breast Cancer.
The event is the UK’s largest women-only fun run and saw mothers, sisters and daughters run, walk and jog through one of the capital’s best-loved parks to raise money for Breakthrough’s life-saving work. Participants (which included British track and field athlete Jessica Ennis and the celebrity Donna Air) could chose any charity they liked to support although the event is firmly focused on the UK’s leading charity committed to fighting breakthrough cancer research. The event’s sponsor adidas, donated 10% from all sales of its new Pink Ribbon Running Range.
5K is not a huge distance and so this was an accessible run open to anybody of any standard and turned out to be a fun, worthwhile event for all involved. The race started at the Knightsbridge end of South Carriage Drive in Hyde Park at 11am.
