Adidas and Reebok Brief
To create a theatrical stage show to be performed in The Netherlands at the Efteling Theme Park for Adidas and Reebok. This was one of the first times that two sporting giants would share the same stage for a fashion show. The show, however, was to be seen as one. The challenge here was to understand the brand values of both Adidas and Reebok and showcase this in one unique show, as well as having 20 dancers & models to choreograph & direct.
Adidas and Reebok Implementation
Accelerate commisioned international creative director and choreographer Kwame Knight for the Adidas and Reebok show. Because of the magnitude of this show, three days rehearsal in London and a further two more in The Netherlands at the location were required to perfect the routines.
The Adidas and Reebok fashion show was staged at the Efteling theatre. The challenge was to create a contemporary fashion show, whilst using a full sized theatre stage, without the conventional catwalk T shape.
The show opened with a stunning martial arts performance incorporating a variety of dance styles including street, contemporary, house, hip-hop & commercial styles. Shortly followed by a range of impressive catwalk sequences, which gave a fantastic visual with an atmospheric lighting design which complimented the whole show.
Kwame Knight continues to be one of the best fashion show choreographers & creative directors as he is able to coordinate within all areas of show production & collaborate with any team, large or small.
